Who
Are We?
Colorado
Women in Publishing started in the spring of 2003 with a gathering of
10 women in the Denver area who were affiliated in some way with the publishing
industry. The purpose of forming this group is to provide a networking
opportunity for all the members and to become better friends and colleagues.
When Do We Meet?
We meet for an informal lunch every other month, usually at
1pm on a Monday. Our next lunch will be held on April 19, 2004 at 1pm
at The Fourth Story (located on the 4th floor of the Tattered Cover Bookstore
in Cherry Creek).
How Can I Join?
If you know anyone in the group, ask them to sponsor you and
bring you to the next meeting. If you don't know anyone, call Carol Waugh
at 303-388-5215 and talk to her about your publishing background.

Are There Other Women in Publishing Groups?
We understand from Andrea Au, the President of Women
in Publishing, it all started
in New York, in 1982. There are now groups in Chicago
and London
in addition to Colorado. Hopefully, we can all begin networking
together to expand our fellowship to different parts of the world.
